We’ve been trying to get a handle on what’s happening in Germany at Stempel. Rainer Gerstenberg is as I understand it, the sole operator of what remains of many of the great European foundries. Specimen books and brochures show types from not only Stempel, but Haas’sche Gießerei, Gebr. Klingspor, Nebiolo, Foundrie Olive, Deberny & Peignot, etc.. So many amazing faces available, if only people would order.
